Bodiam Carol

Anthony Breeds has
supplied the following commentary for this photo.
We used to travel over the whole of the village singing
carols. Some people invited us in for refreshments to warm us
up. I especially remember singing to Major Roberts family at
New House Farm (which is probably where this is) and also in the
entrance hall at Bodiam Manor School.
If my memory serves me correct, the names of the carol singers are
(from the left) John Breeds, Rhonda Willard Jennifer Hillier, Gwen Weekes, Rosemary
Clout, Gillian Hillier, Evelyn George, Denis Breeds, Marjorie Weekes,
Tom Weekes (and in the front row) ?, Adrian Hillier, Anthony Breeds,
Christopher Breeds.
Note:
Hazel Pearson has been in contact with me and tells me that the
person identified above as Jennifer Hillier is in fact her mother,
Rhonda Willard.
