Relf has been in contact with me and let me have copies of three
postcards.
Val is the grandaughter of Percy Morgan who bought the Shop & Post Office in the mid thirties and opened the tea garden. He semi-retired in the early 50s and Val lived at the Shop with her parents and younger sister until it was sold in about 1956. |
This postcard is before the houses around the Green were built.
This postcard has the addition of the BP petrol pumps and the Telephone Box outside the Post Office.
